Tools for GNSS Performance Analysis


Developed under a CNES contract, SPRING is an
innovative and reliable tool designed for advanced
display, analysis and simulations around systems
integrating GNSS positioning.
SPRING supports four execution levels:

  • Level 0 allows display and analyze of real
    GNSS measurements acquired by an
    external GNSS receiver connected to the
    platform in real time or through data files.
  • Level 1 offers a global service volume
    simulation and a local simulation mode with
    accurate modeling of signal propagation
  • Level 2 supports a 3D environment
    modeling of the close environment of the
    antenna. Coupled with innovative signal
    propagation algorithms supported by ray
    tracing techniques, it allows a fine analysis
    of the GNSS performance in constrain
  • Level 3 supports the hybridizing of the GNSS
    signals with external sensor data to improve
    the navigation solution.
